With over a decade of experience in upscale hospitality and gastronomy, Dennis Katholnig brings a distinctive style and great passion to the kitchen of Schanzlwirt. His culinary journey has been shaped by positions at renowned establishments such as Hotel Weißes Rössl in Kitzbühel, Relais & Châteaux Taubenkobel, and the prestigious wellness hotel Höflehner – from Head Pastry Chef to Executive Chef. His cuisine blends Alpine tradition with modern sophistication, placing a strong emphasis on regional ingredients, craftsmanship, and authentic flavor. Since 2025, Dennis has been the Executive Chef at Schanzlwirt, bringing a fresh breeze to Styrian inn cuisine – down-to-earth, creative, and full of dedication.
